Any advertiser can mint a PTAL "campaign", which will then run on PTAL publisher websites.

A campaign represent a specific combination of ads and budget to be delivered. An advertiser can mint as many campaigns they like, as long as they have the funds.

We're currently in closed alpha and require your address to be whitelisted in order to mint a campaign.

Currently, we only support USDT based CPM Display campaigns. We plan to support a variety of currencies and campaign types in the future.

Minting A Campaign

Minting a campaign NFT is free. Based on the budget setting, advertisers are required to approve and fund the campaign before the campaign ads will run.

A campaign is composed of two components, a budget and a series of ads.

  • The budget is the amount you want to spend on advertising and how you want to spend it

  • The ads, also called creatives, are the message you want to send

Like DeFi contracts, you must approve the budget before the campaign can run

The first step to minting an ad unit is to connect your wallet. We currently support:

  • Metamask

  • Rainbow

  • Coinbase Wallet

  • Wallet Connect

We're currently deployed on the Polygon network and will be adding support for other networks.

The budget represent the amount and type of spending for this campaign.

  1. First you must select a "charge type", which represent how the money will be spent - Currently, we only support CPM (cost per thousand impressions)

  2. Then, you must select a currency - Currently, we only support USDT

  3. You must also select a "Max Bid", which represent the max amount of spending the campaign will bid for a thousand impressions - Note this is the maximum to bid, but not the maxmium paid

  4. Finally, the budget is the TOTAL amount (in selected currency) to be spend - This is the amount that must be approved and sent

Once these campaign parameters have been set, click on the Approve button to approve the budget

After the budget have been approved, you can start uploading ads and their landing page URLs.

For each line, enter the URL of the ad (creative) and the target landing page you want the person to go to after clicking on the website. You also need to select the size of the ad (creative) so we can display it in the best way possible.

For each campaign, we support up to 10 ad (creatives).

Once the information has been encrypted, you can proceed to mint the NFT with the Campaign configuration by clicking on the Mint Campaign button.

This will generate an transaction for you to submit.
