Ad Tech Transparency

PreviousThe PTAL ApproachNextDecentralized Moderation

Last updated 1 year ago

The traditional tech stack operate in walled gardens, where major players like Google or Meta keep data within their own network for their own benefit.

To bring data transparency to the industry, PTAL will:

  • Create on-chain representations for advertisers and publishers, allowing them to interact with each other while preserving anonymity. Parties can search for each other using any standard blockchain explorer and conduct due diligence on each other.

  • Publish sanitized campaign data, providing the market with useful data without disclosing trade secrets. This would allow high quality advertisers and publishers to stand out in the market and command better pricing and for new entrants to analyze the performance of the existing market and find niche opportunities.

Once these data is available on chain, publisher and advertisers can verify these data to make sure they align with data that the publisher provided to ensure accuracy and integrity.
